Client Selection Coordinator

Description: The Selections Coordinator will be a team player that will manage the entire client selection process for multiple projects at the same time. The selections coordinator should have prior experience in some of the following areas: residential construction, interior design.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Using the selections portal in our project management software (Buildertrend), this role will act as the primary client contact for all selections related to their custom home/renovation.
• Guide the client and their interior designer to make the selections process as 'stress free' as possible.
• Use Buildertrend to break overall ‘designs’ into discrete pieces that can be individually approved (tile, millwork, paint, fixtures, etc).
• Help the client stay within their budgeted allowances and communicate performance regularly to eliminate surprises.
• Ensure the details that are necessary to execute on the design in the field are loaded into Buildertrend for the field team to reference.
• Manage quotes for selection and change order related items as part of the procurement process.
• Issue purchase orders for all selection related products and labor.
• Ensure designs and materials are available as needed to meet the project schedule.
• Drive process changes or improvements when you see an opportunity.
• Review and develop new suppliers as necessary to ensure supply continuity and capacity to support our growth.
• Attend trade shows and relevant conferences to keep Whitmore Custom Homes on the forefront of new technology and new products.
• Drive projects to achieve pre-determined timelines, with a focus on achieving benchmarks within the schedule – you will be involved in developing timelines.
• Embrace the utilization and integration of BuilderTrend as the tool for managing our projects from bid through project close out.
• Lead the 'Project Kickoff Meeting' for new projects to ensure the client experience is positive from the beginning.
• Complete a weekly log in Buildertrend, giving a general overview of the selections process/budget to date and what selections need to be finalized the following week.
• Track selection related orders to ensure they arrive to our office/jobsite on time for implementation in the field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $27.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
