Job Summary
The Marketing Manager will be at the forefront of marketing efforts for Jean Madeline, Inc. This important position will help define, shape and execute the organization’s marketing plan, which includes strategies to engage with target audiences as well as support organizational and business development objectives. This role will be primarily responsible for maintaining the brand in the social sphere, so knowledge of social media is a must. The Marketing Manager will be accountable for staying abreast of trends and best practices in marketing/communications. Local travel and some evening and weekend hours will be required.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Create, coordinate, and implement the company's marketing strategy in an effort to build new guest acquisition and the overall business
- Build brand awareness through social media optimization and website updates
- Manage projects with print and digital designers, and assisting in development of marketing literature, ensuring valid, current and accurate content, as well as appealing graphics
- Maintain marketing calendar and attend collaborative meetings
- Plan, promote and attend events to advance community relations
- Create guest promotions, including retention and acquisition programs, seasonal promotions, and special services
- Handle all relations with sustainable charitable organizations, including sourcing, creating, and managing all campaigns
- Coordinate and execute public relations campaigns with local businesses and organizations
- Build and modify reports to track performance
- Utilize sound judgment and creative problem solving techniques to assess and resolve complex business issues
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and social media outlets
- Prominent design skills and familiarity with Adobe Design Products a plus
- Ability to change priorities and work independently on multiple projects simultaneously
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, or related field such as Advertising, Public Relations, Communication & Business Management
- 4 years marketing experience in the Beauty, Retail, or Customer Service Industry required
Travel between the salon and institutes in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs is required,
