Job Summary:
Under the leadership of the National Payroll & Benefits Manager, the Payroll Specialist will support all activities related to US payroll processing, maintenance, and delivery. This role is accountable to ensure consistent, timely, and high-quality business outcomes.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day functions of the payroll department correspondence under general guidance
- Review and audit Time & Attendance (T&A) system to ensure that information is flowing accurately to payroll
- Communicate actively with employees & supervisors to ensure necessary payroll-related tasks are completed
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Conduct regular audits on payroll data to ensure accuracy
- Support Payroll Leadership on monthly reporting for Finance & Accounting
- Ensure documentation & entry for new hires are accurate and complete
- Ensure documentation provided for final paychecks are accurate and complete
- Ensure all manual checks are updated and accurately entered on manual check log
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of 0-3 years end-to-end payroll/human resource/accounting experience.
- Demonstrated capability to work across functions/organizations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills using Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Self-starter able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong organization skills
- Detailed/analytical skills (high attention to detail)
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, or combination of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification - Preferred.
- Prior experience and knowledge of enterprise payroll systems such as Paychex, Employee Navigator, Synuity, ADP, and TimeCo.

Salary : $65,000 - $0
