Job Summary:
The role of the Supply Chain Controller, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, involves ensuring the efficient management of finished goods and non-cannabis production inventory. This entails overseeing accurate documentation, tracking, and overall control of inventory through collaboration with various departments. The Supply Chain Controller will also play a pivotal role in optimizing inventory processes within the ERP system.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement inventory control policies and procedures for precise and streamlined inventory management.
- Regularly evaluate and report inventory status across different departments on a weekly basis.
- Develop robust inventory processes and systems, including both routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis, to support operational departments.
- Analyze production waste and patterns to enhance inventory efficiency and minimize excess consumption.
- Monitor and generate Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports that track inventory accuracy. Provide management with insights into KPI performance against targets and recommend corrective measures if necessary.
- Conduct daily inventory analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies and issues.
- Review daily open warehouse put-aways, receipts, and inventory movements to ensure timely transaction completion before product relocation.
- Develop and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory management.
- Regularly assess production inventory through Work-In-Process (WIP) bins and ensure waste adjustments are accurately recorded on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate with Production leadership to ensure accurate transactions during physical product movements.
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and comprehensive inventory audits across departments while meticulously documenting all inventory movements.
- Provide leadership to material handlers, guiding them in their daily tasks, which include cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and inventory adjustments.
- Ensure accurate recording of inventory within Microsoft Business Central and oversee timely and precise processing of transactions.
- Establish and maintain an internal control system to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company operating policies.
- Fulfill any additional responsibilities as dictated by business needs.

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in inventory control management
