Lawn Care & Snow Service Manager Expectations
- You’ll be the primary voice and face of the company for incoming calls and emails, responding to as many as 50 calls per day
- You’ll be keeping both customers and employees accountable– making sure our field technicians stay on schedule and enforcing company policies
- Most of your day will be focused on our maintenance division, which provides mowing, lawn fertilization and weed control, fall/spring clean-ups, ice salting, and snow plowing services
- You’re able to work accurately at a fast pace: you’ll be proactively planning for the week based on weather, answering the phones, responding to emails, making sure the routes are ready for our technicians, all while balancing other tasks and projects
- You’ll be responsible for creating sensible and efficient routes for each of our technicians at the beginning of the season and will regularly tweak them as customers roll on and off our roster
- Another major responsibility is managing the service contract renewal process each year, ensuring customers have an excellent experience and educating them on the ins and outs of what they’re getting
- When the weather prevents technicians from activities for customers, you’ll plan accordingly and respond to any customer concerns
- During the winter months, you’ll also be responsible for monitoring the weather and dispatching crews as needed
- You’ll be the main point of contact for our technicians, giving them all the important details they need to be successful every day
- You’ll be responsible for sending out invoices and collecting payments on a monthly basis
- You’ll become our office expert on our new CRM, help us implement it, and then train the rest of us how to use it so we can become more streamlined
Lawn Care & Snow Service Manager Experience
