What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jr. Service Technician I position at Jeff's Pool Service?
Looking for motivated, reliable, hardworking, friendly team players to assist in year round, weekly pool maintenance services. We pair our technicians in two person teams per route to ensure that each pool is clean, safe, in good working condition, and done so in a timely manner. This is an entry level position.
Duties:
- Clean the pool and deck area as scheduled
- Test the pool water to ensure proper chemical balance
- Adjust pool chemistry when needed
- Complete the service checklist
- Ensure that all equipment is working properly
- Completely and accurately record chemical readings and important information on log sheet
Requirements:
- Must be willing and able to working outside in various weather conditions
- At least 18 years old and not a high school or collage student
- Possess effective communication skills, including the ability to follow and execute verbal & written instructions
- Have reliable transportation to and from work
- Current Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Clean criminal background
- Available to work full-time (40 hours/week), some weekends & most holidays
- Willingness to sign a Non-Compete Agreement
Physically able to:
- Lift & carry 50 pounds, 500 feet
- Perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting motions
- Withstand working in temperatures conducive to southeastern NC for extended periods, including prolonged sun exposure

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
