Note: Recreation Guest Service employees may be assigned to work in different recreation locations including mini-golf, golf, etc.

Job Summary:
Under limited supervision, Recreation Guest Services employee is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining safety and over-seeing all operations of various recreation facilities including the tennis center, mini-golf, and skating rink (when open). Daily duties include delivering exceptional customer service, answering questions, maintaining cleanliness and accurate cash handling.
Description:
- Demonstrates and provides exceptional customer service.
- Complete guest transactions accurately.
- Facilitate daily facility and group programs.
- Maintains and ensures the facility areas are kept clean and properly maintained including guest areas and employee work spaces.
- Complete the daily duties assigned and any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Operates point of sale computer and a cash drawer.
- Record details of attendance, sales, receipts, reservations, or repair activities.
- Provide information about facilities, entertainment options, and rules and regulations.
- Participates in training activities to optimize necessary skills and guest experience.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends.
- Must have customer service experience.
- Computer skills required, previous experience with point-of-sale a plus.
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Previous recreation and/or guest service experience preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Exert up to 35 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 15 pounds frequently and negligible amount of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Between 25% and 50% of the typical work day will be spent standing, sitting, walking and repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and fingers.
- Less than 25% of the typical work day will consist of stooping and/or crouching, kneeling, stooping, and reaching.
- Sensory abilities required include vision, hearing and touching with more than 50% of the day spent communicating; talking and hearing.
- Visual abilities to perform tasks required are to determine accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned.
- Majority of work is performed both indoors and outside. Work performed may be subject to extreme heat and adverse weather including rain and/or cold temperatures.
- Noise level is considered normal, may be occasionally loud.
- Work may be subjected to hazards such as moving vehicles.
