Production Specialist – Process Quality Technician

Key Responsibilities
The role of a Production Specialist - Process Quality Technician is to be responsible for the monitoring and improvement of manufacturing and engineering processes. The individual in this role will have a primary focus of entering and manipulating data in MS Excel, JMP, and IFS. This individual must have the ability to generate reports via MS Excel and PivotTable. Experience with Visual Basic (VBA) and/or Power BI would be a plus. An overview of duties include:
- Collect, input, and analyze data and ensure that it is entirely accurate.
- Providing technical/quality support to all R&D projects and line trials, perform root cause analysis and work to reduce defects and improve processes.
- Assist in monitoring all quality elements of the processes with the goal of resolving any issues as efficiently as possible, improving yield and mitigating customer claims.
- Coordinate with the team always, maintaining clear and open lines of communication.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally and/or frequently lift and/or move stock, materials, and unfinished and finished production-oriented materials in and near their work areas that weigh between 10 and 75 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and machines, vibrations, and loud noises.
KNOWLEDGE AND/OR ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
A High School Diploma or GRE is required. An associate degree is preferred; At least three (3) years of experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred; Experience and/or applicable classes or certifications involving manufacturing technology may be substituted for the experience at the discretion of management. Experience entering, analyzing, and manipulating data on a computer is required with high level of competence with Microsoft Word and Excel.
