CREATIVE PROJECT MANAGER

Reports to: Director of Creative Services

As the liaison between customer and the Creative Services team, you will supervise projects to successful completion, bringing them in on time and on spec while meeting client satisfaction metrics. This role also oversees all aspects of the program life cycle, using program management methodology, best practices and tools to track and communicate project plans, budgets, risk management and schedule.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Work closely with requestors at the onset of a new project to help define the framework of the assignment(s)
  • Define breakdown of project deliverables in conjunction with team needs and requirements
  • Develop task-based schedules, project estimates and resource assignments
• Project manage cross-functional teams to help ensure work achieves an outcome that meets and exceeds client expectations
  • Provide team-focused project management expertise and oversight with development of deliverables from project inception through final delivery and project wrap
  • Ensure project team has resources needed to complete project throughout project lifecycle
  • Facilitate team collaboration/communication, remain engaged and augment team’s efforts
  • Provide professional, consistent, and timely production-specific communication with external clients and internal teams and manage expectations throughout the program and/or project lifecycle
• Perform project administration such as component production status, schedules, resource requests and budget management and reporting
  • Ensure proper quality control
  • Determine/monitor resource requirements/issues
  • Escalate issues as needed when project scope, budget and/or client expectations are at risk
• Effectively manage creative team including daily operation and performance, yearly reviews and Individual Development Plans
  • Work with individual team members on areas for improvement
  • On-board/off-board team members as needed
  
  

CREATIVE PROCESS MANAGEMENT

• Continuously review processes to identify weaknesses and bottlenecks, and develop action plans to address them
• Drive standardization and improvement of business processes and overall project management, including budgeting and scoping
• Manage risks and issues that arise and take corrective measures
• Mavenlink Administrator
• Train requestors in the project process and use of Mavenlink
• Conduct project postmortems (AARs) and create recommendation reports in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
• Partner as a valuable and essential resource for the Marketing department
• Be accountable, earn trust, dignify others and promote team behavior and attitude
• Understand and manage to all of JELD-WEN’s policies and procedures
• Miscellaneous tasks as required
