JOB SUMMARY:
The Construction Superintendent will oversee all onsite construction activity including managing subcontractors and vendors to complete projects on time and within budget.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
- Coordinate all onsite construction including daily interaction with subcontractors, vendors, and building inspectors
- Schedule all subcontractors and vendors throughout project duration
- Direct daily communication with Project Coordinator and Project Manager on project
- Assure safety and compliance on the project
- Facilitate all weekly project coordination meetings
- Maintain as-built documents
- Deliver project on-time and within budget
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in construction related field/equivalent experience preferred
- (5) years Commercial and Residential construction experience
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office
- Experienced in critical path scheduling
- Knowledge of local building codes and construction methods
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Ability to recognize and resolve problems
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree (A.A or A.S) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to visit project sites that have incurred catastrophic events from fire, water, and storm damage and could require accessing roofs, which they need to be able to carry a 28’ ladder from their truck and setting it up at the roof line of the associated property. The employee must be able to carry a minimum of 50 pounds in weight for the purpose of getting material to a specific place on the project site.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Appropriate safety equipment is furnished.
Salary : $25 - $35
