Caregiver

Caregiver Position needed for a new 6 bed Residential Style Assisted Living Facility in Palm Bay.

Night Shifts - 12 hour shifts needed 2-3 times per week. Shifts are 9:30-9:30

You must be reliable and trustworthy, and friendly ; and meet the following state required criteria:
1. You MUST be able to pass a level two background check (State requirement) and have this complete.
2. Have an up to date CPR/ First Aid certification. ( Or be willing to get it done)
3. Have your updated med class certification to be able to assist with the self-administration of medication.
4. Must be able to obtain a letter from your healthcare provider stating you are free from signs and symptoms of communicable disease ; along with a negative tuberculosis test.

Duties:

- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Assist with the administration of medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including positioning
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure resident privacy and confidentiality
- Promote resident rights

Experience:

- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and basic medical terminology
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects or individuals as required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Pay: $14.00 per hour
