JMS Turning Point Division, is currently seeking Stores Attendant-A for one of our customers in the Bridgman, MI area. These are full-time positions with competitive salary and benefits available.

Job Responsibilities for Stores Attendant-A:
- Use of Microsoft Programs including, excel, word, power point, and outlook.
- Experience working in shipping and receiving, truck/crane scheduling, inventory control, receiving material and Assist Material & Supply Yard Assistants in laydown yard procedures.
- Issue material under authorization and process required records.
- Determine material requirements, and order replenishment stock; complete related records
- Check received material for quantity; make visual inspection for identity, breakage, and condition; initiate material receipt and related records.
- Identify, sort and record material returned; place usable material in stock, and sort non-usable material into scrap containers.
- Operate computer terminals and printers supporting a material management system, plus other office equipment such as calculators, prepare and pack material for shipment or storage, maintain and process stores related records.
- Conduct sale of scrap or other materials as authorized, including weighing and loading such materials, maintain approved inventory levels, conduct inventory counts, and clear discrepancies with appropriate approval.
- Pick up, haul, and deliver materials, Ship and/or receive hazardous material, such as gasoline, oil, oil containing PCB, and lead-acid batteries, under required safety and environmental procedures, assist supervisor with maintaining efficient storage of materials, rearrangement or change of bins and racks, and making material location changes.
- Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklift trucks, low lift trucks, hoists, overhead cranes, order pickers, or any other equipment as required, operate Company automotive equipment such as cars and trucks, maintain clean and orderly work areas and equipment, report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
- Perform duties in accordance with Company safety rules, operating regulations, and practices.
Job Requirements for Stores Attendant-A
- High School Diploma or GED
- Have performed the duties of Store Attendant-B for 24 months.
- Commercial Driver’s License
- Physical Ability Test (PATS) required
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs receptivity and stand for an entire shift
- Able to work in both indoor/outdoor environments within all weather patterns.
- Ability to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays required.
- Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol test required
Dress Code & PPE requirements
- Steel toe boots required
- Jeans and t-shirts/sweatshirt (no inappropriate words or pictures)
- All other PPE is provided
