The Logistics Manager ensures there is never any shortages in parts, supplies or equipment essential to keeping production moving for our customers. Succinctly coordinating with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality to track all raw materials from the smallest bolt to the large critical components for building custom machinery. When it's time to ship our first-of-a- kind product they guide their team in properly packing and handling techniques so that it is not damaged in transit and is delivered to customers on time.

Success Criteria:

Demonstrating upstanding character, you tackle the challenges of managing all facets of warehouse operations. Combining your expertise and ability to understand the intricacies of our unique business, you will lead the charge in driving company and industry standards across our warehouse operations.

From managing incoming materials and inventory cycle counts to auditing customer shipments, your attention to detail and meticulous coordination of teamwork will set you and your team apart. Bringing clarity to establish clear workflow process, fearless ambition to implement solutions and anticipate roadblocks will allow you to eliminate barriers to achieve success.

In addition to establishing standard operating procedures, it imperative that you cultivate a strong team by fostering a culture of collaboration, communication, and coordination. Providing your team with unwavering support, hands on coaching, and professional development is a vital part in keeping the operation moving smoothly.

Requirements:
  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 years increasingly complex experience as Logistics Manager or equivalent combination
  • Working knowledge and use of a Warehousing, Shipping and Receiving Management System
  • Ability to effectively communicate simple written or verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in the MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to use MS PowerPoint for presentation to leadership and team members
  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and to make use of appropriate shipping and receiving material handling equipment, as necessary.
  • Ability to document Standard Operating Procedures for areas under your leadership team.
  • Working knowledge of MIL STD 2073-1E, DOD Standard Practice for Military Packaging or MIL STD 129R, DOD Standard Practice for Military Marking for Shipment and Storage (preferred)
  • Experience with Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) and eTools (preferred)
