Deployment Lead
General Description:
Advanced Technology Systems Company (ATSC) in McLean, VA has an exciting position for a Deployment Lead for a high visibility program/project. The Deployment Lead will be well organized and disciplined to manage deployment functions. The Deployment Lead will have good communications skills and work closely with our customers to provide status to ensure deliverables are provided on time. The successful candidate
Qualifications:
Required:
- Individual should have a minimum of 10 years of experience integrating and fielding complex systems and overseeing capital asset deployments (e.g., concurrent tower deployments and construction of 10 or more tower units per year).
- Experience leading deployment programs of capital assets or complex systems in austere environments for DHS or Defense organizations is preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Domestic and international travel will be required Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics Education, or similar degree is required. Demonstrated experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Skills:
- 7 years of experience in managing deployment projects of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.
- Experience working with similar programs for DHS or Defense organizations and and international customers is preferred
- Prepare and complete action plans to be presented to the Government.
- Ability to provide direction and mentoring to project team members; set appropriate goals and Work with the higher level Deployment Manager, if applicable, to provide effective and efficient management of the deployment
- Experience documenting deployment processes and procedures
- Proven ability to ensure compliance, and manage administrative requirements
