Basic Function
Responsible for performing accounts receivable duties, including: processing vendor credit cards credits, vendor credit card applications, maintaining customer files, customer inquiries, assisting in credit collections calls, backup for check and cash application, processing of credit applications, and document imaging.
Responsibilities
CREDIT
- Contact Customers, via phone or mail, regarding past due accounts
- Review A/R aging and call reports with Credit Manager on a monthly basis to determine appropriate action to be taken
- Assist Credit Manager with resolving account discrepancies
- Calling customers on past due accounts
BOUNCED CHECKS (NSF)
- Post all NSF checks back to accounts receivable and record in daily cash book
- Send customer “Demand for Payment” Letter. Submit NSF's to Check Center for warranty or recovery
- Maintain schedule for status of recovery
VENDOR CREDIT CARDS
- Update customer account records
- Process Power Plan and other vendor credit card applications.
- Process Power Plan and other vendor card credits.
- Assist Credit Manager with resolving account discrepancies
COLLECTION CALLS
- Provide assistance at the direction of the credit manager in making calls for delinquent accounts.
DOCUMENT IMAGING
- Scan accounting documents into archive system.
OTHER DUTIES
- Perform other duties as directed by your immediate supervisor
