Crew Member

While crew members will be trained in all facets of the operation, the acquisition of excellent customer service skills will be of foremost importance. The vast majority of orders are acquired through phone orders or the front counter in a face to face manner. It is therefore necessary for staff to learn to navigate our point of sale system effectively. It is important to note our crew members perform all functions within the restaurant. At Jet's it's truly team approach. This includes training crew in all facets in pizza making, food prep and clean up! We are hiring for both of our Champaign locations. 512 S Neil St and 1907 W Springfield Ave.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be polite, reliable, honest and hard working
• Food preparation experience is appreciated but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to follow directions

Responsibilities also include:

• Answer phones
• Answer questions about our product
• Serve customers in a professional manner
• Food preparations
• Sanitizing and cleaning
• Be able to lift 50 lbs
• Operate a cash register and POS system
• Take orders and process payments

With the exception of the company-owned Jets Pizza locations that are located in Michigan, Illinois, Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Colorado, all other Jets Pizza locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees. This means that the franchisor Jets America, Inc. has no involvement in running the daily operations of the franchisee, nor does the franchisor have any control or authority over the hiring, firing, wages, hours or terms and conditions of employment of the franchisees employees. The independent franchisee controls all of those topics and makes decisions regarding them without the involvement of the franchisor. Franchisees are small business owners who are the sole employers for their own Jets Pizza locations, and are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including employment laws. Jets America, Inc. is the franchisor of the Jets Pizza chain. As the franchisor it will not be involved with the employment policies and practices at franchised locations or with establishing the terms and conditions of any employment relationship with individuals applying to or hired at franchised locations.
