Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve deli products to customers
- Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized deli area
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Ensure food quality and freshness
- Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, fryers and scales
- Stock and rotate deli products to ensure freshness
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a food service or deli environment is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Knowledge of basic math for and portioning food items
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness standards in the deli area
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
