Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and skilled Floral Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and creating beautiful arrangements for various occasions.
Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements such as bouquets, centerpieces, and corsages
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements for their needs
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and supplies
- Keep the floral department clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Operate cash registers and POS systems for sales transactions
Skills
- Proficiency in floral design techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Knowledge of retail sales practices
- Ability to work with a variety of flowers and plants
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing and inventory management
- Multilingual skills are a plus
- Basic understanding of garden and lawn care practices
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
