JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a CNC PROGRAMMER in the Greater Greenville area.
Responsibilities of a CNC PROGRAMMER includes:
Safely load and unload castings and raw materials into CNC machinery.Independently set up, program, operate, and troubleshoot CNC routers.
Follow and train others on procedures for maintenance, tool changes, and daily operations.
Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.Identify, deploy, and correctly use inserts, fixtures, and tooling.
Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of CNC machinery; maintain detailed maintenance logs and coordinate external maintenance as required.
Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Optimize setup time, machining processes, and material usage through continuous Improvement initiatives.
Possess knowledge of tools and router machinery.Support organization and upkeep of the machine shop environment.Provide ongoing feedback to enhance departmental processes.
Utilize networking systems and software to produce precision-cut parts.
Interpret project blueprints and generate precise cut paths using computer software applications.
Adhere to all quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with Metromont and OSHA safety regulations.
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Works effectively both independently and as part of a team.Demonstrates keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Highly reliable with a strong work ethic.
Self-motivated and proactive.
Communicates clearly and effectively.Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Applies critical thinking and problem solving skills.
