What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Business Manager position at “JIFFY” Foodservice?
This position is critical to the effective national distribution of Jiffy Mix products. As a Regional Business Manager (RBM), you will work closely with all of Chelsea Milling Company’s Sales Team to effectively master the Company’s selling process. A major part of this process is to establish and maintain close business relationships with retail and wholesale customers and manage our broker network that supports our business.
A specific area will be assigned that will involve extensive travel to meet with key customers and a number of brokers.
The qualifications for this position include:
- At least ten years’ experience as a Regional Sales or Broker Manager is essential, with a thorough knowledge of the grocery industry.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and address issues in a business-like manner.
- Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience using CRM software.
- Experience and expertise using trade promotion services and analytical tools.
- Must be willing and able to travel four days/three nights per week.
