Job Description:
We are seeking a General Manager with an owner-operator mentality to oversee the operations of a Jimmy John's restaurant. The ideal candidate will be capable of running the store with minimal support, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all functions of the restaurant to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and train a team of 3 to 20 employees
- Handle hiring, training, and performance evaluation of employees
- Ensure efficient operations to meet budget expectations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and discuss with Area Manager
- Maintain accountability for all aspects of the restaurant
- Manage inventory and ordering process
- Supervise food preparation and service operations
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
- Implement new ideas to increase sales
- Conduct weekly manager's meetings
- Complete required paperwork and audits
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
- Other related duties as required
Special Requirements:
- Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record
- Stamina to work a minimum of 50-60 hours per week
