What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher (FT) position at Jimmy's Egg?
Responsibilities:
- As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for cleaning all dishes, glasses, pots, pans, and utensils used throughout the shift by employees and guests.
- Your duties include but are not limited to helping put away deliveries, and keeping the dishwasher in good working order.
- Setting up the three-compartment sink for all equipment that has to be hand-washed, be knowledgeable of the chemicals used at each step of the cleaning process, sweep and mop floors as needed, and keep open communication with team members.
Requirements:
- A qualified applicant must have excellent communication skills and the willingness to work with others as a team.
- Able to lift 25-50 pounds, and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length.
- This position also requires you to use motion that entails bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stretching, and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
