We are currently recruiting for a web developer with the skills to join the team in our Brentwood, TN headquarters. The right person will complement our team. Working on key projects and help develop client solutions that involve simple and complex website platforms, applications, and interactive databases. They will work with and communicate with all team members and clients regarding new options for websites, help create solutions, problem determination, and resolution. The ideal candidate will have great communications skills, have experience programming front end and backend of websites, is technically savvy, and understands how to manage and customize WordPress websites.

Essential Duties:
- Work with the client or an AM to customize existing website projects, adding additional functionality or updating the existing design.
- Installation, configuration, and customization of approved plugins.
- Assist in the development of custom themes.
- Front-end development using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Improve existing sites, modules, and designs.
- Report directly to the client with progress and collect feedback.
- Work in a staged environment and push approved changes live.
- Build landing pages and coming soon pages.
- Apply thoughtful user experience to projects with a focus on design.
- Lead internal development projects, working with APIs, website applications, and tools beyond WordPress to develop unique solutions.
Requirements:
- PHP, MySQL, JS (jQuery & AJAX), CSS, Github, and HTML.
- Portfolio/work examples
Nice to have:
- Adobe CS5
- Server administration experience.
- Solid understanding of Web Accessibility
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years experience
- Excellent client management and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, highly driven, and self-assured individual who enjoys working in a team collaborative environment
