In this senior role, your vast experience will be valued in leading project production efforts demonstrated through document quality and project coordination. If there's a technical problem, you will be our team’s MVP, putting your skills to work to investigate and solve it. As a Project Technician III you will be responsible for assisting the JLG Project Managers and Job Captains with project delivery from design to documentation. Project Technician III’s are integral to ensuring flawless execution of a project utilizing expert knowledge of design software and construction methods, while working with and growing a team of Project Associates and Project Technician staff. A JLG Project Technician III:
- Is educated. You have a professional degree from an accredited university or post-secondary technical degree with 8-10 years of professional experience and expert knowledge of building materials and construction methods.
- Understands Technology. You demonstrate expert-level Revit and BIM skills and can transfer “redlined” changes to update drawings.
- Is a Task Master. Whatever task needs doing, you make sure it gets done. You understand and take responsibility for monthly staffing assignments for the entire team and take a proactive approach in communicating with project teams to understand expectations.
- Follows the JLG Project Checklist. You see value in the nearly 30 years we spent creating an air-tight project handbook, making it easy for Project Technicians to understand and implement it to the letter.
- Is experienced. You bring valuable experience working with governmental agencies, building codes, and zoning ordinances.
- Is a leader. You have the ability to train, mentor, and inspiring Project Associates and Technicians in JLGpro production best practices through continuing education sessions
- Creates and achieves. You use JLG processes to guide the time and efforts of the production team to get the work done within project schedules and financial goals.
