What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Facilities Manager position at JLL?
The Regional Facilities Manager oversees, guides, and mentors a team of Sr. FMs, AFMs and Engineers with responsibility for service and customer experience for a distributed site portfolio in the western US. This position will also act as the Sr. FM for the Palo Alto, California location.
This is a hybrid position; mostly working from the client's Palo Alto, CA location and site visits to sites within their region as needed.
Candidate must live in the Palo Alto, California region.
Responsibilities:
The Regional Facility Manager (RFM), will be responsible for the delivery of quality facility management services in multiple sites across the U.S.
* The RFM coordinates account related deliverables and responds to client satisfaction issues for effective reporting and service
* Manages the administration of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system elements facilitate the processing of work orders and related invoicing to reconcile vendor activities, coordinate site resources, and engineering delivery
* The RFM performs facility condition inspections to grade building systems and schedule maintenance projects and maintain account financials
* Provides procurement administration to contracted services or material delivery for effective vendor management and invoice processing
* Manage vendor performance to satisfy client's request within scope of service
* Work with Account/National IFM Director to oversee the delivery of maintenance and repair services
* Coordination of Engineering teams for effective asset management and work order resolution
* Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of Facility Management services and provide a lead role in monitoring and increasing customer satisfaction
* Interface with customers of client properties- RFM is the face of JLL customer service at the delivery level
* Key in the development and management of capital budgets
* Support the Account Manager, Senior Facility National Director in the implementation of short and long-term projects/initiatives for the client
* Accomplish key performance indicators as identified by the Account Manager
* Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client
* Maximize utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors
* Evaluate technician and subcontractor performance
* Ensure compliance with Jones Lang LaSalle minimum audit standards and client's standard processes
* Any and all other duties and tasks assigned
Qualifications
* Customer experience and relationship management skills
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities or Maintenance Management
* 10 years of facilities or property management with a third-party provider, corporate or as a consultant
* Knowledge of commercial real estate, HVAC, electricity, telecommunications, furniture and building energy management systems
* Prove Success in managing FM and soft services
* Proven success managing subtenants and lease portfolios
* Proven success in working at corporate headquarters
* Proven success managing multiple facilities within a geographic zone
* Vendor and Lease management
* Experience in expense and budgeting management
* Experience in capital planning and capital projects
* Experience in lease management
* Strong organizational and management skills
* Excellent communication and computer skills
* Data Analysis skills - Preferred
* Experience with Class A buildings
