Description
Responsibilities:
• Conduct industry, company and individual executive research and analysis that helps Search Executives focus on the best opportunity targets
• Coordinate and drive business development activities against current clients, recent and past clients, and high potential prospects
• Help Search Executives with pre-sales target identification, pitch preparation, post-meeting and event follow up and correspondence
• Provide campaign management support to plan, execute and follow-up on various demand generation activities
• Maintain up to date “off the shelf” and customizable practice sales collateral material
• Leverage and share business development best practices and up to date account information
• As an integrated team member with content-focused Marketers, serve to develop, deploy and track effectiveness of practice-specific content initiatives and “client touch campaigns”
• Work with content-focused Marketing teams to ensure deliverables meet JM brand standards
• Support Search Executives with arranging and tracking the outcomes of sales meetings
• Analyze and report on business development performance
• Help Search Executives effectively use CRM processes and tools
• Contribute to JMS intellectual assets and best practice sharing as part of the extended and connected Marketing community
• Provide hands on support to optimize investments in conferences, hosted events and sponsorships
• Develop, maintain and internally share forward-looking events calendar
• Identify relevant panel and speaking opportunities and support speaker presentation development in collaboration with Marketing
• Ensure consistency with JM messaging and brand positioning
• May be accountable for event budget, materials and logistics
• Client-facing participation at events, as needed by Practice Leader(s)
• Identify and maximize the business development outcomes of relevant conferences, sponsorships, speaker opportunities and hosted events:
• Maximize event participation with follow up and outcomes tracking to determine ROI
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Experience within a professional services organization that is sales driven and in an advanced, mature stage of business development
• B.A./B.S. degree
• Proficient user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
• CRM, sales technology and process savvy “native”
• Strong verbal and written skills
