REMOTE OPPORTUNITY
JMA Resources is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) to join our team. This person provides assessments of the severity of weaknesses or deficiencies discovered in the information system and its environment of operation and recommend corrective actions to address identified vulnerabilities and prepare the security assessment reports containing the results and findings from system security assessments. The NQV will serve as a trusted agent who assesses and validates that the system has implemented the approved security control-based line as part of our Risk Management Framework (RMF) team.

Responsibilities:
- Perform a complete assessment of a system’s or network’s security controls, known threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Perform Cybersecurity policy compliance, review A&A artifacts, A&A validation, and bring Subject Matter Expertise in Information Assurance life cycle management.
- Provide a summary of failed controls in the Risk Assessment tab in eMass.
- Complete a SAR, in conjunction with the SCA, based on the assessment results.
- Recommend updates to the POA&M based on the assessment results.
- Ensure traceability of all vulnerabilities from raw assessment results to the POA&M.
- Prepare the SAR Executive Summary, with all assessment results, for SCA Review.
- Prepare and submit the SAP with program assistance.
- Recommend corrections to eMass record.
- Support the continuous monitoring program by validating controls after STIGs, ACAS scans, and Security Control testing has been completed.
- Execute the approved SAP.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Clearance Level:
- Current or ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Additional background screenings for base access may be required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.

- Must have experience working with the following:
- eMass.
- Security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and vulnerability assessment tools.
- IA tools and scanners used to evaluate the security posture of the system/enclave.
Required Experience:
- Must have at least 1 year of the following Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and/or RMF (RMF is preferred) experience:
- Experience in the writing and validating of DIACAP/RMF Certification and Accreditation/Assessment and Authorization documentation. The U.S. Navy RMF process is preferred.
- Experience in DIACAP/RMF testing of all CS requirements and analysis required to complete a DIACAP/RMF package document for submittal and approval.
- Experience performing vulnerability risk analysis on the deficiencies found during DIACAP/RMF testing.
- Must be able to supply the total number of DIACAP/RMF authorizations performed.
- Experience with IA tools and scanners used to evaluate the security posture of the system/enclave.
Education Level:
- A degree in Computer Science is preferred but not required.
Required Certifications:
- Current CGRC, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, or CCISO is required.
- Current Navy Qualified Validator certificate is required.
Location & Commitments:
- Full-time remote position that will require travel to the client site in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, for approximately 2-5 days every 2 months.
- Hours are based on the client, usually Monday-Friday between 8-5 p.m. EST.
