What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teacher's Assistant position at JMR Staffing?
We're currently looking for Paraprofessional(s) / Teacher's Assistant!
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Shift: 1st Shift 8:00AM - 3:00PM (NO SUMMER SHUTDOWN)
Hourly Pay: $16.50
Location(s): Portland, Higganum Killingsworth, and Bristol, CT
Responsibilities:
- Helping teachers with conducting lessons and developing material
- Enforcing class and school rules and regulations to teach students proper behavior
- Reinforcing lessons that the teacher presented by reviewing material with students one-on-one or in small groups
- Supervising students in the class, between classes, during recess and lunch and on field trips
- Monitoring the classroom and minimizing distractions and disruptions
* Preferably someone who's worked with kids or elders in the past*
