Job Summary:

Job Details:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries either in person or over the phone.
  • Write training manuals.
  • Train computer users.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Clean up computers.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.

Position Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o Proficient in latest technology for IT systems and management.

o Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

o Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

o Excellent interpersonal skills.

Background Experiences

o Associate's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field is required.

o Experience in system support/help desk in medical/healthcare environment preferred.

o Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical clients.

o Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

o Excellent understanding of different operating systems and programming languages, as well as extensive experience working with database and network tools.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt position; the incumbent is expected to be present and accessible for at least 40 hours per week, subject to approved leave time, travel and other absences as described in the Employee Handbook or as otherwise agreed by the Company. The Company’s standard hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
