JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Occupational Health Medical Doctor in Fredericksburg, PA. The Occupational Health Medical Doctor focuses on managing patients' health conditions by treating injuries and illnesses, as well as supporting injury and disease prevention. People are a company's greatest resource, which is why caring for employees and keeping them healthy is so important.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
- More time with patients. Providers spend an average of 30 minutes per patient visit.
- Practice broad-scope medicine. Practice thorough, patient-focused, effective primary care rather than rushing patients through and spending hours coding and charting.

JOB SPECIFICS
- Monday: 7 am-4 pm
- Tuesday: 7 am-4 pm
- Wednesday: 11:30 am-8 pm
- Thursday: 7 am-4 pm
- Friday: 7 am-4 pm
- 1 hour lunch break each day
- A Medical Assistant is on-site each day to assist you. You will also collaborate with two RNs.
- A Health Center Nurse Manager is also available for any day-to-day operational assistance you may need.
- Collaborating Physician is provided and oversees several providers in the region.

Responsibilities and Job Requirements of an Occupational Health Medical Doctor includes:
- Assess symptoms
- Diagnose conditions
- Prescribe and administer treatment
- Provide follow-up care of patients, refer them to other providers, and interpret their laboratory results
- Collaborate with physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other health professionals
- Prescribe medication
- Stay current on medical technology and research
REQUIRED Experience and Education:
- 1 years post-residency experience
- Current and valid state medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is a huge plus!
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations
- Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for medical providers
- Thorough knowledge and adherence to HIPAA, OSHAA, and clinical quality standards
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
- Training skills a plus
- Demonstrated problem-solving and workflow management skills
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records (we use Athena)
- Must be willing to develop a thorough understanding of the Mission, Vision, Values, and Patient Promise and be a champion of them in each patient encounter.
- Must be willing to develop a thorough understanding client corporate culture and their employees as your patients.
