JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for Warehouse Production Technician in Mt. Pleasant.
Position Expectation Statements:
This person will need to read work instructions and installations directions and properly build the equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain efficiency by organizing facility and implementing associated procedures, arranging inventory system, gathering raw materials for production team and positioning incoming and outgoing shipments daily.
- Propose solutions for recurring facility issues, especially those relating to production flow and organization of space.
- Perform basic service of equipment and facility as required.
- Understand materials, appropriate method for storing each and basics of lean inventory system.
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Communicate weekly with production and management about upcoming projects, concerns and potential problems.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Preferred Experience and Training:
- Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Must have experience operating basic machinery.
- Attention to detail in every aspect of the job.
- Able to maintain a neat, clean and organized work area.
Equipment, Tools Used to Perform the Essential/Preferred Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hand tools – pneumatic and battery operated
Physical Requirements:
- Normal standing, walking, bending, and twisting as necessary to perform job duties.
- Use of hand tools
- Exposed to normal seasonal temperatures.
- Lifting/moving up to 75 pounds
Education Requirement:
High School or GED
