YRCI is seeking an experienced Vice President of Human Resources (HR). This position plays a pivotal role in driving our people strategy forward and will be responsible for leading all aspects of HR, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation, and benefits, learning and development, and HR operations and compliance. Reporting directly to the President, will provide strategic guidance and tactical execution to ensure that our organization attracts, develops, and retains top talent. The VP of HR will also over see the Payroll, Benefits and Security teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with YRCI’s overall objectives and foster a high-performance culture. Build and maintain strong collaborative coalitions. Motivated to deliver on vision while setting team members up to operate and deliver.
Talent Retention: Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, including recognition programs, career development opportunities, and employee wellness initiatives.
Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Performance Management: Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning, to drive employee engagement and development.
Compensation and Benefits: Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, fairness, and alignment with business objectives.
Learning and Development: Develop and implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capabilities, including leadership development programs, career pathing, and succession planning. Invest in your teams to advance their knowledge and capabilities.
HR Operations: Oversee HR operations, including HRIS management, payroll administration, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
Culture and Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, diversity, and belonging. Familiarity with federal government service providers and employee base is highly desired.
Change Management: Lead HR change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation, aligned to organizational restructuring, and cultural integration.
Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal requirements.
Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, conducting audits as needed.
HR Metrics and Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to measure HR effectiveness, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize HR processes and programs.
