We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented Quality Inspector with experience in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analyses of raw materials, in-process and finished goods, assessing quality levels, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This role is crucial to ensuring that our products meet the high standards of quality, reliability, and performance that our customers expect.
Responsibilities :
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products.
- Use GD&T practices, metrology, and other measurement techniques to inspect parts and assemblies.
- Understand and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Work with medical devices, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and regulations.
- Initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for products or processes that do not meet the required standards.
- Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Support the Quality Assurance team in maintaining ISO compliance and other industry-specific certifications.
- Work with the production team to implement quality control procedures and provide feedback on production methods.
- Conduct routine audits and inspections to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality and efficiency.
Qualifications :
- 2 years of experience in a Quality Inspector role within the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of GD&T practices and metrology.
- Experience working with medical devices and understanding of relevant regulations.
- Familiarity with initiating and managing NCRs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and quality control software.
- Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is preferred.
