We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Sonographer to join our team in the medical industry. Responsibilities

As a Consulting Sonographer, your primary responsibilities will include

• Performing high-quality ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Providing consultation and guidance to other sonographers, physicians, and healthcare professionals regarding ultrasound findings and procedures.
• Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assisting in the development and update of sonography protocols and procedures.
• Participating in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in sonography technology and techniques.
• Providing education and training to other healthcare professionals and students in the field of sonography.
• Ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of sonography equipment.
  
  

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must have

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sonographer, preferably in an OBGYN setting.
• Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
• Demonstrated expertise in OBGYN sonography, including fetal, gynecological, and obstetrical ultrasound.
• Excellent technical skills, including proficiency with sonography equipment and software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information to a diverse audience.
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to stand for long periods and perform detailed ultrasound examinations.
