Job Details
The Account Manager role presents an opportunity to join one of the fastest growing firms in the industry and is a key player on the Commercial Real Estate team. The Account Manager is the brains behind the operations on the client success team. They keep the engine running on a day-to-day basis and help ensure our clients have the best possible experience. This position requires someone that is detail oriented, organized, and can work in a fast- paced environment with deadlines.

What Experience You Will Bring:
- Prior experience partnering with an Account Executive to deliver exceptional service for a real estate book of business.
- Experience managing client insurance renewal processes including:
o Submission Building.
o Marketing and Brokering of Insurance Policies.
o Negotiate insurance placement with carrier partners.
o Proposal Building and Coverage Analysis/Comparisons.
o Preparation of Premium Allocations and Invoices.
o Ensuring Documentation and Data Entry into our Various Systems.
- Comfortable leading midterm client services including:
o Midterm endorsement requests to amend policies and add and/or remove coverages.
o Provide indications on insurance pricing for new acquisitions.
o Drive midterm marketing efforts for new acquisitions.
o Address coverage-related questions from client in a timely manner.
o Oversee preparation of Summary of Insurance/Schedule of Insurance.
o Review carrier-issued loss control recommendations for red flags and potential concerns. Works with the Client Account Specialist, as appropriate, to deliver loss control recommendations to clients and track them for completion.
o Update the Real Estate Working SOV upon binding coverage.
o Manage and lead day-to-day client service needs.
o Comfortable cross-selling services.
- Bachelor’s degree or related field and/or years of experience equivalent.
- 3 years of experience in Property and Casualty broking required.
- Exceptional knowledge and skill with Microsoft software applications (Excel), Agency Management Systems, and the ability to learn new software systems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with a commitment to impeccable customer service are required.
- Ability to utilize all resources available to find answers for client inquiries and fully resolve any insurance related issues is required.
- Applies a solid knowledge of major insurance coverages, (including general/product liability, commercial automobile, workers’ compensation, property, time element, umbrella, financial coverages, etc.), client-specific coverages and premium rating methods and audits.
- P & C Producer License or the ability to obtain the same within 60 days of hire.
What Will Blow Us Away:
- Prior account management experience with complex insurance programs including complex property placements.
- CPCU or other insurance or professional designation.
- Advanced degree.
- Prior public speaking experience and the ability to make the complex simple.
- Experience evaluating and placing management liability, cyber, and professional liability.
- Active P & C Producer License.
