You will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) transaction cycles, and for significant support of the general ledger maintenance, monthly closing, and monthly reporting cycles.

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Permanent Accountant for a leading organization in the medical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a specific focus on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and monthly reporting. The individual will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all accounting transactions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and monthly reporting.
2. Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements.
3. Publish financial statements in time.
4. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
5. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
6. Ensure timely bank payments.
7. Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
8. Audit financial transactions and documents.
9. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
10. Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
3. Proven experience as an Accountant with expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and monthly reporting.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Ability to direct and supervise.
7. Excellent analytical skills with an ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow.
8. Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication both verbally and written.
9. Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with relevant accounting software.
