We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to contribute to a fast-paced, growing organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, providing vital support in accounting functions, including budgeting, audit, expenses, AP/AR, inventory, and month-end close.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the preparation and management of company budgets and financial forecasts.
2. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial laws and regulations.
3. Managing and reconciling all accounts payable and receivable transactions.
4. Maintaining accurate records of company expenses and providing recommendations for cost reduction strategies.
5. Conducting regular inventory assessments and providing updates on stock and material availability.
6. Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reconciled.
7. Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial operations and improve financial performance.
8. Preparing financial statements and reports for senior management, highlighting key financial trends and performance indicators.
9. Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance the efficiency of financial operations.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Accountant role will have the following qualifications:
1. A BS degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficient in budgeting, audit, expenses, AP/AR, inventory, and month-end close.
4. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
5. Exceptional numerical proficiency and experience with accounting software.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
