As a Permanent AP/AR Accountant, you will be playing a pivotal role in our dynamic finance team. You will be responsible for managing both incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company policies. Your role will involve using your expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations to maintain financial records and assist with audits. This role will require a high level of proficiency in SAP, Excel, Oracle, and other financial software. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, you will be well-versed in all aspects of financial accounting and corporate finance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Utilize financial software, including SAP, Excel, and Oracle, to process transactions and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, and assist with audits as needed.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and achieve departmental goals.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for management.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies in financial data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in financial software, including SAP, Excel, and Oracle.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
