Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Nurse Manager to join our nursing leadership team. The Assistant Nurse Manager will work closely with the Nurse Manager to oversee daily operations, provide clinical leadership, and ensure high-quality patient care delivery within the assigned unit or department.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to plan, coordinate, and supervise nursing activities within the unit or department.
Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including orientation, training, and ongoing professional development.
Assist with staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient-to-staff ratios.
Monitor and evaluate patient care delivery to ensure adherence to established protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance activities to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Serve as a resource and liaison between nursing staff, interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families.
Support effective communication and teamwork among nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
Assist with the resolution of patient and family concerns or complaints in a timely and compassionate manner.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and projects as assigned by the Nurse Manager or nursing leadership.
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in [state where the position is located].
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
Minimum of [X years] of clinical nursing experience, with [X years] of progressive leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
