Job Details
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience and handling matters in state and/or federal court.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal agreements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on a broad range of legal matters.
- Represent our clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Collaborate with legal team members to ensure the provision of high-quality legal services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in legislation and case law that may impact our clients.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring their legal needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance across the organization.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney in the legal industry.
- Experience with civil litigation is required
- Experience with or interest in medical malpractice is preferred.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal agreements.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
- Current license to practice law in the state of Oregon.
