- The associate will be required to handle all aspects of civil litigation with a primary focus on motion writing, and legal research.
- Conduct client meetings to recommend strategies on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action
- Record the time and value that you delivered to clients to review what worked and what didn’t and what you can improve upon in the future
- Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
- Develop a legal strategy based on each client's goals, the facts of the case, and applicable law
- Distribute tasks to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their progress while remaining fully responsible for the final result and meeting all deadlines
- Generate letters and legal papers for contract negotiations and actions, such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, depositions, and settlement agreements
