Job Details
- Lead and manage audit engagements for clients in various industries, including real estate, manufacturing, partnerships, S-corps, and C-corps.
- Perform and oversee audit procedures in accordance with GAAP and GAAS principles.
- Review and analyze financial statements and other relevant documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Communicate with clients and team members to provide timely updates on audit progress and findings.
- Identify and communicate potential audit issues to clients and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights to clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 2 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on auditing.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS principles.
- Experience working with real estate, manufacturing, partnerships, S-corps, and C-corps.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
