Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement chemical processes for manufacturing plant
• Work with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and batch records
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues, including identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Provide technical support to production teams and assist with training as needed
• Participate in process validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ and process capability studies

What you need for this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 3 years of experience in process engineering in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of chemical processes, including blending, extrusion, and injection molding
• Experience with polymer extrusion and drying processes
• Knowledge of plastic materials, including polyethylene
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with process validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ and process capability studies
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
