A Civil Engineer is needed for a rapidly growing civil engineering firm on a direct hire, hybrid/ REMOTE basis. This role will be provided an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including infrastructure, residential, and structural engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead projects and work directly under the Principal Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a PE license, exceptional technical and project management skills, and a strong desire to create innovative engineering solutions.

A Civil Engineer is needed for a rapidly growing civil engineering firm on a direct hire, hybrid/ REMOTE basis. This role will be provided an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including infrastructure, residential, and structural engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will lead projects and work directly under the Principal Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a PE license, exceptional technical and project management skills, and a strong desire to create innovative engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a variety of engineering projects from conceptual design through to completion.
- Conduct detailed infrastructure and structural designs, calculations, and analysis.
- Develop and implement project schedules, plans, goals, and budgets under the guidance of the Principal Engineer.
- Review project plans and proposals, then work with the management team to develop project objectives, identify project responsibilities and the specifications needed to meet customer requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to lower-level staff, fostering an environment of learning, growth, and collaboration.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives and expectations are met.
- Promote and maintain quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure the highest level of reliability and accuracy in design and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- A valid PE (Professional Engineer) license
- A minimum of five years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure, residential, and structural projects.
- Proven experience in managing all stages of the engineering project life cycle.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex engineering concepts to clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality work.
- Strong commitment to professional and ethical standards.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for project requirements.
