We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Civil Engineer to join our progressive engineering team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a challenging and rewarding opportunity to apply your expertise in civil engineering, drainage, AutoCAD, ICPR, residential subdivision, and commercial development. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
1. Apply your knowledge of civil engineering principles to design, develop and implement residential and commercial development projects.
2. Utilize AutoCAD and ICPR software for the creation and interpretation of complex engineering designs and plans.
3. Conduct site evaluations to ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
4. Develop detailed drainage and infrastructure systems for residential subdivisions and commercial developments.
5. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction crews to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
6. Prepare and present reports detailing project progress, potential challenges, and proposed solutions.
7. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve project efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Handle any environmental concerns that may arise during the project, ensuring all work is carried out in an eco-friendly manner.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in civil engineering, specifically in drainage, residential subdivision, and commercial development.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and ICPR software.
4. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction project management.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex engineering issues.
6. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. A valid professional engineer's (PE) license is preferred.
9. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
