Job Details

• Plan and schedule tasks in the Fabrication Department.
• Analyze production schedules and estimate worker hours required for job completion.
• Ensure workers comply with company policies and enforce safety regulations.
• Interpret specifications and job orders for workers and assign duties.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommend improvements in production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Propose changes in working conditions and equipment usage to enhance shop efficiency.
• Analyze and resolve work issues or assist workers in problem-solving.
• Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers and achieve work goals.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
• Coordinate activities with other supervisors across departments.
• Perform tasks alongside supervised workers, as needed.

What You need for this role:

• High school diploma or higher
• CNC experience is a must
• Experience operating milling machines, lathes, saws, and drill presses
• Ability to interpret blueprints and use shop math.
