We are in search of a dynamic and dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional customer service and expert advice on commercial insurance needs. You will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to client needs and objectives.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Commercial Lines Account Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing a portfolio of commercial accounts, providing exceptional customer service and expert advice on commercial insurance needs.
2. Processing renewals, endorsements, and proposals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
3. Collaborating with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within the territory.
4. Handling all aspects of account management, including negotiation of terms and conditions, and maintaining client relationships.
5. Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and company guidelines.
6. Proactively managing customer accounts, anticipating needs, and providing solutions.
7. Developing and maintaining a thorough knowledge of our products and services to provide accurate information to clients.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Commercial Lines Account Manager position should have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance, commercial, property, casualty, renewals, account management, endorsements, proposals, commercial insurance, account management, and customer service.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
3. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
5. A strong understanding of the commercial insurance market and the ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
7. A professional insurance designation (CIP, CRM, CAIB, etc.) would be considered an asset.
8. A active Property and Casualty license is preferred upon hire and needed for the position.
