Job Details
Qualifications:
Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree
Licensed to practice law in Colorado
Minimum of 3-5 years prior experience working in a law firm required
Experience in Civil Litigation, preferably Construction Defect or General Casualty/Insurance Defense.
Well-versed in legal research software (Westlaw)
Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
Ability to use Microsoft Office is required
Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Attorneys with determining case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis
Take depositions, attend mediations and other legal proceedings as needed
Conduct research, prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
Help to advise clients with weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
Preside over paralegals and administrative assistants in connection with completing client projects
