Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Manage financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring that financial targets are met and resources are allocated effectively.
- Manage cash flow, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and tax compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a financial management role.
- Experience with grant/control accounting and charter schools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
- Experience with forensic accounting investigations is a plus.
