Job Details
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Automation, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, etc... preferred
- 4 years' experience with controls or automation
- Experience with AC/DC drive systems, power distribution systems, HMI, and PLC programming/troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills - ability to interact with clients, vendors, outside contractors, etc...
Day-to-day:
- Help manage capital projects including: design, budgeting, contractor selection/management, installation, commissioning, etc...
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and programing PLCs for new and existing systems
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams
- Read and interpret bill of materials and schematics
- Investigate equipment failures / performing root-cause analysis
- Maintain technical documentation regarding processes, upgrades, workflows, quality standards, etc...
